Project 1 Decor 16x9 inset

With the unit in place warm air ducts have also been attached to the top outer skin of the stove. These will be used to duct warm air away from the stove to the side of the chimney breast. Here you can see the stove in place connected to the chimney using a spigot. The installed stove is countersunk back into the chimney breast. The tv has also been recessed to protect it from warm air rising up the front of the chimney breast. Here you can see a closer picture showing you the depth of the chimney breast that has been built out to accommodate both the stove and tv.
This project was designed to replace a large open fire in an older house. the chimney breast was built out in non combustible materials to accommodate the fire and the tv. In order to improve the heat from the stove been returned to the room the flexible warm air ducting has been hidden behind the new construction work.

Project 2 Russborough House West Wing

This project called for a modern stove that was capable of heating a larger open plan area.Once the rendering of the high curved ceilings was completed a flue exit needed to be located directly above the position of the stove. This photo shows the position of the flue exit. This photo shows the commissioning of the unit once the flue had been installed. The flue system was straight from the stove to the chimney cap . This gives a better and cleaner burn.
Here you can see the finished project with the stove lighting and the flue sprayed in the same heat resistance colour as the unit itself. This double sided unit has been mounted on a granite hearth.
A free standing double sided unit (Jide Maxi 77/60DF) in an open plan kitchen, dinning/ living area.

Project 3. Glenbeigh.Jide Maxi 77DF.

A modern new home in north Co.Dublin. Constructed from new high quality materials. Here you can see that the chimney breast was constructed in such a way that the fire can be seen from both sides and the flue system is ready to be attached to the stove.
Viewed from the kitchen/dinning side a small chimney breast has been constructed to house the stove and its warm air ducts.
Viewed from the other side the Jide stove finishes flush with the wall and above it a counter sunk area for a tv.
Jide Maxi 77 DF.This unit is capable of providing enough heat for the whole due to the warm air ducting and fans which have been installed with the stove. This house has been constructed with new high quality materials.
